This Red Cross course is meets the specific requirements of the Health Care Provider and meets ILCOR 2006 guidelines and teaches resuscitation techniques for adults, children and babies.

The following topics will be covered:

Adult/child/baby CPR - one rescuer

Adult/child/baby choking

Barrier devices/pocket masks

AED certification*

Rescue Breathing and pulse checks are taught at this level

Adult/child/baby - two rescuer CPR (30:2 ratio – Adult and 15:2 ratio – child and baby)

BVM

This level meets all ILCOR guidelines

This course emphasizes safety and prevention as well as dealing with issues after they have happened.

This program includes CPR A / C or HCP and AED content as required.

This Canadian Red Cross course is suited for the Professional Rescuer, Medical Practicioners or others who have access to and may be required to administer Emergency, suplimental Oxygen. This course can be taught as a stand alone course ( Prerequisite CPR level C or HCP ) or can be combined with a level CPR C or HCP Course.

This Pleasure Craft operators (PCO) Card Training course meets the Canadian Coast Guard guidelines and is designed for Pleasure Craft Operators in Canadian waters.

 Participants will learn the basics of safe boating and will aquire the knowledge necessary to pass the PCO test, included in this program.

This Canadian Red Cross Course is designed for those who have already taken the Standard First Aid Course and require recertification.

All participants must have a Current Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid Certification Card, and bring it to the course to be eligable.

Course content varies depending on the level of CPR.

A Adult

C infants, children, Adults

HCP Health Care Providers

The general Course Content is the Same as the Standard First Aid Course but presented in a review format with an empheses on Skills.

Participants must obtain 75% on a written test and attend 100% of the course.

3 years on recertification

* note if your card says Recertification and is up for expiration, you must attend a full Standard First AId Course.

WHMIS (Workplace Hazerdous Materials Information System)1-4hrs110

This program teaches the basics of understanding WHMIS and is designed to meet standards set out by WSIB (Ontario) for work place compliance. This program is suitable for new Employees or as an annual Refresher. This program can be taught as a stand-alone program or as and add on to First Aid programs.

This program is not associated with any agencies.
